My neighbor Nate and I spent an afternoon trying to figure out his smoker. In the meantime we indulged in a few selections from his Beer of the Month club. I liked this Maine brewery’s chestnut ale better than this IPA, which had a sharp, astringent bitterness to it instead of a nice floral hopfeel.
