This is the fourth beer I’ve had in this series. This is J.W. Lee’s Harvest done in Calvados casks. It’s definitely a beer that belongs in a big snifter and should be sipped slowly but even so I think I’m done with this big, astringent, low-carbonation style of beer. I love the barleywine style but I like it more balanced and easy-drinking. Look out for the sediment in these.
