Moat Mountain – Belgian Tripel

This is an average tripel to me. There’s a shot of Belgian esters and yeast in the nose, and the same touch of spiciness and sweetness when drinking it. It just seems like a beer that doesn’t quite meet potential. I would try another batch in the future to see if there’s any improvement or if there’s any change in my palate. (No score on Beer Advocate)

Maine: the way beer should be.
